Reflections
In today's workshop, I was set with the task of creating an animation for either a snack, drink or service. I had no struggle conceptualising an idea for an advert and quickly brought out a previous sketch I had made for myself and my friend—

After the fact, I downloaded an app called Stop Motion on my iPhone, which allows me to compile pictures in a frame-by-frame to amalgamate into a 5 second video.

One issue I ran into was taking my idea from thought to reality. I had little knowledge of animation, especially hand-drawn and going frame by frame. This caused me to underestimate how many actions I did within the advert the first time I attempted to create the ad.
After this failure, I decided to repeat some frames three times in order to increase the length of the video. In addition, I also added text at the end of the advert. Throughout this process I also experiment with sound in the advert. Due to being at home, however, most of the audio used is muffled and the sound escaped from my phone where I recorded the sound effects for the animation. Both of the sounds were taken from YouTube. The sound where the exclamation point appears above the character's head is from Pokémon, the sound when you press A to progress dialogue. Next, the crunch is from one of the many crunch sfx on YouTube.
The end product was as such—
I admit that I failed to play to my strengths in verbal or written storytelling and opted for a visual piece which hindered its overall polished quality as a final product. Belbin's team roles (2010) assumes that every person involved in the creative process plays their specific duty to help the outcome reach its highest peak. Due to not consulting teachers on the method of animation or claim any advice on the process I should take, I blindly tried to reach my ideal. In order to overcome this issue, I've began gaining support from teachers with assignments such as Colette who will begin to relay my struggles to teachers effectively when I cannot communicate efficiently.
